I am selling a house in the village of Varovnik, Burgas region, close to the town of Sredets. The house has 2 residential floors + a high attic with large windows, it was built in 1982. The yard is 3350 sq m, there is a very large walnut tree, lime tree, cherries... Photo number 3 was taken from the end of the yard, you can also see the large walnut tree in the yard.
It can become a wonderful home for relaxation and rest in nature, a camping site for tents, caravans, a place to stay for those who like to go hunting...
In the village there is a 200-year-old walnut tree declared a centuries-old tree since 1967. Anton Strashimirov taught here in 1892-93, and wrote some of his best works, and in one of his essays he calls it - ”My Eagle’s Nest”, there is also a memorial plaque for him. The village is located at the western foot of Bliznak Peak. From here, on clear days, 17-19 settlements, Burgas and the lights of the harbor lighthouse can be seen - on a clear night. Nearby is a protected area - ”White Stone”, Thracian dolmen, remains of a late antique medieval fortress ”Bliznashko Kale” on the small Bliznak, 10 km away is the monastery ”St. Life-giving Source” in the village of Golyamo Bukovo.
From 1885 to 1913, the border between Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire passed through here, and tourist routes of ”Zelena Strandzha” also pass through the village. Since 2003, there has been a private experimental base for the development of alternative agriculture and agroforestry near the village.
